Since 1990 Pre-University programs have been organized to help students who require additional instruction or review in the required subjects and in English language to prepare them to take the entrance examinations for the regular Degree Programs of the following universities:
Szent István University - Faculty of Veterinary Sciences
Semmelweis University - Faculty of Health Sciences
The preparatory program of McDaniel College Europe - Budapest Campus (called Pre-Medical Program) prepares students for the following studies in the following subjects:
at the Pre-Medical/Pre-Veterinary Program (preparing for Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Veterinary Science):
General English, English Communication, English for Special Purposes – Medical English, Biology (Cell Biology, Genetics, Physiology), Chemistry (General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry), Mathematics, Physics (General Physics, Introduction to Biophysics), Hungarian.
There are two types of this program, 1 and 2 semester courses.
Long course: mainly designed for those who have not studied one or some of the required subjects or who lack knowledge in English.
Intensive course: the 1 semester course is designed for those who need to refresh their previous studies and have a good command of English.
