The Semmelweis University in Budapest runs a small-size international program leading to a Master of Science in Pharmacy degree. The studies last for five years. The first two years of studies are similar to the basic medical curriculum, while the following years concentrate on the specialized subjects of pharmacology. The degree granted by the university is recognized without any licensing examinations in all European Union countries (- applies to the nationals of the member states.)
